Zombies From The Hood

I recently had lunch with Jenny, our designer we befriended in Miami a few years ago. It’s been awhile since we talked, but she could not stop droning on about how many of her clients recently have started remodels without her, only to ring her mid way through the work and beg for help. As she tells it, everyone would hire contractors, finish the construction work, bring in their new furniture and then… They hate it! If she said it once, she said it 1,000 times: Decorating is about tying the furniture to the rest of the home. Turns out her approach is incredibly simple: she just adds a few cool, rugs from here and some decor, pillow and artwork. Then, she strolls over to the bank with a big fat check for her efforts!
